MMC子模块电压均衡及环流抑制方法研究

摘 要:子模块电容电压均衡及桥臂环流问题会对模块化多电平变换器(MMC) 的直流侧电压平衡及换流器内部稳定运行产生很大影响。提出子模块电压分块均衡控制策略以及基于矢量比例积分(VPI) 谐振控制器的桥臂环流抑制策略。电压平衡控制方法采用分块原理,对子模块电容投入顺序分为三级进行,可以减小桥臂电压波动,而且可以减小IGBT 的开关频率。MMC 上下桥臂环流抑制策略采用的是一种新型控制器,并对控制器参数采用试验的方法进行了分析和计算,可以有效减小换流器内部环流。通过在PSCAD/EMTDC 软件中进行仿真,验证了相应控制策略的有效性。

    Abstract: Sub-module capacitor voltage balance and bridge arm circulating current issues will have a great impact on the DC side voltage balance of the modular multilevel converter (MMC) and the stable operation of the converter. To solve this problem, a sub-module voltageblock equalization control strategy and a bridge arm circulating current suppression strategy based on a vector proportional integral(VPI)resonator controller are proposed. The voltage balance control method adopts the block principle, and divides the sub-module capacitor inputsequence into three levels, which can reduce the voltage fluctuation of the bridge arm and can reduce the switching frequency of the IGBT.The MMC upper and lower bridge arm circulation suppression strategy uses a new type of controller, and the controller parameters are analyzed and calculated in detail by means of experiments, which can effectively reduce the internal circulation of the converter. Finally, simulation is carried out in PSCAD/EMTDC software to verify the effectiveness of the corresponding control strategy.
